STORM RAIDERS
STANDEE ASSEMBLY TIPS
Please read and watch the following before you begin assembling your standees in order to avoid damaging the pieces.
Before assembling the standees, you need to remove the protective plastic film on both sides of all of the standees and bases. Tips on how to do this can be found in the video below.
Plastic Film: We have noted that even with the tips featured in the video provided, some backers have still found the easiest way to remove the plastic film on these is by gently picking at the edge of it until they can peel it off. So it's safe to say what works for some may not work for all, but please do take your time, reference the video for assembly, and consider them to be fragile.
Putting the Standee in the Base: As mentioned in the assembly video you will want to fit the standee into the base on a flat surface, and start by angling one corner of the standee into the base. If you try to put them together in your hands(without the support of a surface/table), you will likely crack the base. There are extra bases provided in just in case. However, if you do experience a crack or break here are some more tips from us and the wider Raider community: 1) You can try to ever so gently file along one of the bottom corner edges of the piece so that it fits the base a little easier. 2) Flip the base over to the opposite side to see if it slots in a little easier. 3) Try to assemble all other characters first and return to that piece later.

We are happy to hear that many of you have had no issues! We love how great acrylic standees look as a premium component, but we understand that the potential fragility of these pieces is not ideal. Trust us when we say we wish that not one of you experienced any difficulties or anomalies when assembling these! Due to tight manufacturing margins to ensure a sturdy fit, the odd mass manufacture anomaly, or the experience of the hands assembling them, we completely appreciate that accidents are bound to happen. So if you have followed all of the guidance above, and still experience breakages, please do feel free to complete a replacement request for the bases here.
